From here to Meguro the Namboku Line and the Mita Line are the same railway. Two island platforms and four tracks make the arrangement work: Mita Line trains use the outer pair and Namboku trains the inner pair, with northbound services at platforms 1 and 2 and southbound ones at 3 and 4, so a change between the two lines is a few steps across a platform. The ticket gates on the first basement level are shared by Tokyo Metro and Toei, and no barrier divides the companies inside.

Both N03 and I03 opened on 26 September 2000; the working name during construction was Seishokomae. Beyond the station the two lines part — trains either continue onto the Namboku Line towards Azabu-juban or onto the Mita Line towards Mita, and some terminate here. Tokyo Metro counted 37,807 passengers a day in 2025; Toei’s 2024 figure for its own services was 24,798.

Departure times come from the operators’ own GTFS timetables (ODPT GTFS Toei-Train-GTFS (version 20261009, valid 2026-03-14..2027-03-12) + TokyoMetro-Train-GTFS (version 20261008, valid 2026-09-19..2027-03-12)). Japan publishes two subway timetables: 平日 weekdays and 土休日 Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays. There is no separate Sunday timetable, and the December 30 – January 3 period runs the holiday timetable.

Transfers and connections

  • Subway: transfer between Namboku Line and Mita Line. The Tokyo Metro lines and the Toei Subway lines belong to different companies, so a trip that uses both costs more than one operator alone — see fares.
